Laughing, Lunching and Launching!

Phew, its been a busy month or two – sometimes it feels as if our feet will never touch solid ground.  As all three of us are busy performers in our own right, diaries are sometimes a little crowded. Having said that we wouldn’t have it any other  way.

Between performances, we always manage a rehearsal with lots of laughter amidst the serious musical bits and almost never fail to round that off with lunch and sharing of ideas for new musical projects. Our musical word is a very happy place and hopefully that spills into our performances

In other news, our main project lately has been the production of a live five-track EP which will soon be ready. As you can imagine. we are all really excited about this and can’t wait to share it with you all. Meanwhile we are planning an EP launch on September 7th at Buckingham Old Gaol – watch this space for more detail coming soon…..

Bandstanding!

Hasn’t this weather been glorious?

It has made outdoor events such fun if not a little warm!

Our set at Music in the Courtyard for Banbury Folk Club was roasting, but the valiant audience managed to creep into the shadows to stay cool for our performance. Thank you one and all.

Slightly cooler was our trip to perform in Bletchley as we had the grandeur of the Bandstand to protect us from the sun’s rays. there were lots of smiles and foot tapping and the odd dancer who braved the heat in the main square. we’ll be back again on 8th September and we all hope the weather is as good then.

Meanwhile we are working on new material and there’s a rumour that Mark has written a new song – watch this space…..

Hello world!

Welcome to the all new bright and shiny Noah’s Cape website. Bear with us as we get up to speed and add the latest information.

For now, we’re preparing for a gig at Stockton in Warwickshire and looking forward to that. An exciting year of Folk Club and Festival gigs lies ahead of us and we look forward to sharing our news.

Coming up are gigs at the Folk on the Pier Fringe in Cromer in May and a visit to Banbury Folk Club in June.

We also have plans to go into the studio later in the year.

That’s it for now

Love,

Linda, Marian and Mark
